COMPLIANCE ADVISORY FOR HR AND L&D LEADERS

When the courses aren't enough, advisory takes you the rest of the way.

We work with HR, L&D, and Compliance leaders at small and mid-sized employers in the UK and Malta to design compliance programmes, audit current setups, build custom courses, and prepare teams for regulatory change. The same specialism that runs through our course library, scaled to your specific situation.
Practitioner advisory

Every project is led by someone who has had to comply with the regulations they are advising on, not just teach about them.
Output you can defend

Programme specs, audit reports, course specs, and rollout plans are written to stand up in front of an auditor, regulator, or board. Named regulations, articles, version dates, and version history.
30-day SLA, post-engagement

When the law changes after we deliver, we update the materials we built. The same 30-day SLA we run on the public library, applied to the work we did for you.
Five ways we work with HR, L&D, and Compliance leaders

1. Compliance programme design

We design end-to-end compliance training programmes anchored to your obligations: who on your team needs what training, when, on which regulations, in which jurisdictions. You leave with a programme spec your CFO can sign off and your auditor can defend.

Typical engagement: four to six weeks. Output: programme spec, training matrix, policy alignment map, version control plan.

Services Offered

2. Compliance audit
3. Custom course development
4. Regulatory change response

5. Sector-specific compliance rollouts

2. Compliance audit and readiness review

When your regulator asks for evidence, you need to know where the gaps are before they do. We review current training arrangements, policies, and records against the applicable regulation and produce a clear gap report with a remediation plan your HR and Compliance team can act on immediately.

Typical engagement: two to four weeks. Output: gap report, remediation plan, evidence pack for next regulator interaction.

3. Custom compliance course development

Off-the-shelf courses cover the standard. When your obligations are specific to your sector, your jurisdiction, or your internal policies, we build a course that covers exactly what your team needs to know, mapped to the named regulation, version-dated, and built for your LMS or ours.

Typical engagement: six to ten weeks per course. Output: production-ready course on your LMS or ours, version-dated, with maintenance schedule.

4. Regulatory change response

When law changes, your training needs to change with it. We monitor the regulations in our library and proactively flag updates to clients on engagement. When a change affects you, we turn around a course module, manager briefing pack, and HR FAQ within a fixed SLA, so your team is compliant before the enforcement date.

Typical engagement: two to four weeks. Output: course module, manager briefing pack, FAQ for your HR team.

5. Sector-specific compliance rollouts

Compliance looks different depending on where you operate. We take a sector-first approach: the right regulations, the right tone, the right examples for your industry, delivered as a training programme your people will actually complete.

Typical engagement: three to six weeks. Output: sector-tailored programme, training pack, rollout plan.

How an engagement starts

1. Scoping call

A 30-minute conversation to understand your situation: what regulations apply, what is already in place, what is broken, what timeline you are working to. You leave with a written summary of the engagement options.

2. Proposal

Within five working days, we send a proposal with scope, timeline, named outputs, fees, and engagement terms. Fixed fee where the scope is clear, day rate where it is not.

3. Engagement

Most engagements run two to ten weeks depending on service. You have one named lead from Auren, weekly check-ins, and a defined output every milestone.

4. Post-engagement support

The 30-day SLA continues for 12 months from delivery. When the law changes on a regulation we covered, we update the materials. No re-engagement needed.
