Compliance, Done Right.

The compliance management partner for employers across the UK and the EU

Auren Institute helps HR, People and L&D leaders, and the compliance teams beside them, turn compliance from a box-ticking exercise into something they can manage and stand behind when the law moves.

What makes us different

Compliance management, built the way practitioners want it

We do one thing: help organisations manage compliance across the whole workforce, to the law that actually applies to them.

Specific to your jurisdiction

We build courses around named UK and EU regulations, in the version currently in force, not an abstract global category. The regulation, the article and the date it was current to are on the page.

A ladder, not a flat catalogue

Every domain runs across Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced, so new joiners, line managers and compliance officers are covered in one procurement decision.

Updated within 30 days

When a covered regulation changes, we revise the course within 30 days and publish the version date, so your team always trains on the law in force.

Why Auren exists

If it cannot name the regulation, it is not compliance training

Most compliance training teaches the category, not the regulation. It uses generic examples and language kept vague enough to sell across fifty countries, and it sits in a catalogue for years without revision.

If your training cannot name the regulation, the article, and the version it was current to, it is not compliance training. It is awareness content.

We built Auren Institute to close that gap: to give employers across the UK and the EU compliance training precise enough to manage a real obligation, and current enough to trust when a regulator asks for evidence.

Our approach

We help you manage compliance, not just complete it

Completion is not compliance. A certificate on file is worth little if the behaviour it was meant to change never did. Our approach is built to close that gap across the whole organisation.

  • Map every role to the level it needs, from the front line to the compliance team.
  • Teach the named regulation, the article and the version in force, with real scenarios.
  • Keep audit-ready records of who completed what, and when, in one dashboard.
  • Move fast when a new act lands, without rebuilding your training from scratch.

The three-level ladder

One structure across every domain, so each person trains at the level that fits their role.

  • Foundation for every employee
  • Intermediate for managers
  • Advanced for your compliance team

Our founder

Built by a practitioner, not a platform

Stefan Gauci Scicluna, founder of Auren Institute

Stefan Gauci Scicluna

Auren Institute was founded by Stefan Gauci Scicluna, a training and compliance practitioner, university lecturer and doctoral researcher. He built the institute around a simple frustration: too much compliance training is written to be enjoyable, not to change behaviour or hold up at audit.

He is the author of Training That Sticks, a practical workbook on building training that actually changes what people do. That thinking runs through every Auren course.

Accreditation and recognition

Certificates that stand up to scrutiny

Auren Institute is a CPD-registered provider, number 22536. Every course is version-dated and carries a certificate of completion, so your records show exactly what was trained and to which version of the law. Our faculty are educated to doctorate level, and we work alongside recognised bodies including the FSB, the Malta Chamber of SMEs, CIPD, the CPD Certification Service and AGRC.

Yes. We build jurisdiction-specific content: UK courses for UK obligations and EU courses where the law differs, from GDPR and the EU AI Act to the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
